My Glastonbury Journey - Monika Michael

I first came to Glastonbury 3 years ago. I didn’t plan to come, I didn’t even know where I was going. I knew nothing about the history and mystery here.

One night I had a dream about this place. I saw the green land and I heard the voice of a wise old woman, guiding me inside the Hill. I heard her voice calling me to come and understand the beginning of life. I saw in this dream that the journey into the sacred hill begins by the white and red living threads, representing male and female sexual beings in alchemical meeting.

My friend told me about Glastonbury and I new it is the place. Next day I earned the money, which I needed for flight tickets and all expenses. And so I was ready to come and meet HER.

Even before I saw the Tor I felt huge waves in my body and could hear the spirit of the land saying “Welcome back dear one”.
The first journey up to the hill was really coming home, meeting Mother Goddess. I was crying, deeply loving and felt deeply loved. My first words were “Please forgive me. Forgive me that I wanted to be better than you created me; that I wanted to live life in a different way than letting it flow by its own wise way”. And she just loved me deeply. I never felt in my life being loved and received so completely until this day.

Last year her voice guided me to travel to South America. The journey started with massive letting go of everything that created my outer world. My son, my partner, my work, and my home – I had to let go of them all. I felt physically that the Earth is dying and nothing has its original importance anymore.

I was going to die, my old world was dying. And I was feeling so much love in my heart. And I was crying because I hadn’t met a man who can face such a love yet. But I knew that I could embrace the whole planet with my heart.

At Winter Solstice 2010 I left my physical body giving all my love to the Earth, to be happy and have a simple life in balance. And I came back. Like a child I started to learn again how to be, how to live, how to communicate, how to love and how to work.

And my first wish was to meet a tribe where I belong to and where the wisdom which I hold is rooted.

She sent me to meet the indigenous people from the KOGI tribe. The KOGI are unique among the world’s indigenous cultures because the Spaniards never conquered them. They are said to have memory of the beginning of time and remember the rampage the conquistadors brought to their region in 1498.

I spent 3 months working everyday with Mamo Akindue – holder of the Earth wisdom and healing powers. He explained and taught me the 9 levels of sacred spiritual work using sexual energy. He showed me how to cleanse and take care of the inner and outer waters on planet Earth.

And then I was able to meet and feel the tribe people in the mountains. It walked physically into the vibrating heart of the Life. I saw and understood the wisdom of the indigenous woman and their being with man, with family. I knew it must exist somewhere… and I am probably one of just a few people on this planet who really found and experienced the living evidence of the sacred life in its pure constant quality. They are real, they mate for life, they are beautiful, deep, sharp, loving, and knowing. They are protectors of life on the Earth.

Every woman embodies the wisdom of life and every man has the knowledge how to protect life. They say “Woman is like life. She doesn’t need to think so much or do things. She IS the flow, she is love. She is the manifestation. She is like Anaconda”.

And the man is like an Eagle or like a Condor. He flies high and can see where life flows. And he protects her, carries her and removes the obstacles. And he loves her. So they walk together, guiding each other in unity.

I ask the indigenous elders many questions and I got many simple answers. I opened my heart fully and they gave me connection to the wisdom. And they sent me back to Europe saying “You can do this work anywhere you are”.
The simplicity and complexity of their sacred spiritual work bring the answer to the questions not given to the mind but to the awareness of our whole being.

The fundamental base for understanding is integration, healing and expanding of sexuality in the heart. Sexuality has different meanings in indigenous cultures. It means the life force of creation in every breath, every heartbeat, every word spoken, every body movement.

They know 9 levels of sexual meeting between woman and man, between Earth and Spirit, feminine and masculine.
Each meeting is a conscious choice requiring awareness of creation and the balance and protection for life on our planet. Meeting in mental, physical, spiritual, astral, aural, energetic, essential, voice and silence …creates everything as life pulsation.
The work could be seen in 5 directions and it is an everyday practice. Same for breathing and heartbeat.

3. balance issues on the collective level, Earth walk
4. practice the awareness of divine sexual meeting (mirroring for singles, meeting for couples)
5. creation

The road is one … and there are nine ways to be awake at this time. Working simply and daily is the responsibility for life.
So my second wish was to find a place on the Earth where to live and do this work.

Last August my son suggested that I take him to England and show him the place I love. And so we arrived in Glastonbury and spent his holidays here. One day, walking down Magdalene street I suddenly felt some soft, warm loving movement in my belly. At that moment the little root started growing down to the Earth. The same day I got the invitation to work here.

It is January 2012 now and I am moving to live in Glastonbury. The purpose is very simple. Be in service to Mother Earth and balance life. This is the best place to share the Earth wisdom with people and the land. I am home, getting ready for the third magical wish.

AWAKENING BODY CONSCIOUSNESS OF THE LIFE PULSATION

The very good news is that our body memory knows exactly what to do and how to do it. When we were born, we embodied the life pulsation – we were pure sexual beings. We were the embodiment of pure life: energy and consciousness meeting in the body. From this moment we were told NOT to BE. We were told to be something else. And so our life turned into an endless searching for the right ‘form‘ of being. All business is about it. We give almost all of our life to try to be something that we are not. Our civilisation is so highly sophisticated, successful and creative at fixing life in a form instead of being in flow. So we started to learn how to be something other than what the life essence of our being is. And we are happy or unhappy about it. And we keep searching and asking...what is there ... what is the final answer for the question ‘WHO AM I‘?

I was given a very simple breathing practice. I can feel connection with my masters, healers, teachers, guides, protectors and allies. Through this practice i feel it coming to me as a gift from many directions.

And I gave a name to it - The wave of life.

Enjoying giving a name to this creation of life teaching is the same as enjoying giving a name to a child.

The principle is that with every inbreath we breathe in both the air AND the energy!!!

We breathe the air through the mouth and the energy enters us through the perineum.

While we breathe the air, our heart distributes the oxygen to every cell in the body. And it happens also with the energy. But what else... in our heart, the energy and the air meet and create the unique quality of our life in every moment. So we breathe in the God and the Goddess, masculine and feminine, energy and consciousness, red and white ... and they literally penetrate us while entering the body. They have sexual meeting in our heart and they create the miracle of life: the true YOU. Your truth being - essence, quality... however you will call it. And your heart radiates this true YOU into every single cell in your body, in every single part of your being, living, loving, working.
And it is the place where you begin to be. Welcome home.
